Shnita Wiley was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was raised in the small town of Aliceville, Alabama. At the age of 12, she moved back to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. As a child, Shnita knew that she wanted to work in healthcare. In 1999, Shnita began to climb the clinical ladder in healthcare. From 1999-2003, she worked as a certified nursing assistant. Working as a nursing assistant, Shnita learned 101 of being a good nurse. Shnita’s way of taking care of patients was treating each patient that she cared for as if they were a family member. She learned how to give bed baths, make an occupied bed, transfer patients, and, most importantly, good bedside manners. From 2003-2016, Shnita worked as an LPN which taught her how to administer medications, IV Treatment, and wound care, along with assisting with transfers, feeding, and good customer service. Between 2016-2017, she received her ADN and became a RN. Shnita then learned how to administer blood, work with critical burn patients, and learn about tracheal healthcare. In 2017, Shnita moved to Georgia where she earned her BSN in nursing and worked in leadership roles. Starting in 2018, Shnita worked as a charge nurse and pursued her career as a Nurse Practitioner. October 6, 2020, Shnita earned her Masters of Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.  November 6, 2021, Shnita opened Blessed Hands Wellness Spa LLC where she continues to serve clients on their wellness journeys using a blend of personalized medical and holistic products and services.
